Partnerships Development Internship

CEPI – Citizen Engagement & Policy Innovation – is a new media organization to be launched in 2017 and is focusing on presenting & discussing policy ideas, problems and opportunities, becoming a catalyst in policy change (still in stealth mode).

Currently we are looking for interns to join our organization for helping CEPI with its outreach and liaison with European think tanks, research centers and associations.

What we are looking for:
> English speaking students or recent graduates (fields of politics, international relations preferred; however, the position is open to all the disciplines as long as you meet the following criteria)
> Strong interest in public policy / policy making
> Capable web researchers
> Ability to work responsibly with minimum supervision
> Ability to handle with professionalism business communications and relationships
> Some exposure to online tools (project management, CRM, CMS) will be considered an advantage

How this will work:
Interns will update our CRM (customer relationship management) and communicate directly with European organizations (ie. research centers, think tanks, interest groups, etc) for helping us build our partnerships and populate CEPI with content (articles, podcasts, videocasts). For the privilege of the independent and home-based internship, interns will be required to keep track of their work using online project management (asana, harvest) tools.

What will you take out of it:
> Hands-on use of a variety of web platforms and tools: project management (asana, harvest), CRM (HubSpot), website/CMS (WordPress)
> Refine your business communication skills (written)
> Get in touch with policy researchers and activists from all around Europe
> Get exposure to the latest policy trends, issues and discussions

This is a 3-month, 16 hours/week unpaid internship and can also be performed virtually; can be extended if both parties agree.
